You, your family and/or business can sponsor or co-sponsor one of Samaritans many crisis response programs and initiatives, including the 24-hour suicide prevention hotline, public education program, suicide survivor support groups and major training conferences for health providers.

Samaritans also conducts specialized projects that address a specific need, population or service gap in the community. Other programs to sponsor include:; $25,000 would expand our entire Safe Place program for survivors of suicide loss and promote it citywide; $50,000 will pay for the costs tied to all of Samaritans programs and services for a month; $100,000 would cover the cost of training over 1,000 NYC public schools guidance counselors, social workers and psychologists in all five borough who work with at-risk youth in a school system that serves 1.2 million students.
